After all that sanding this Vrod pulley is polishing up pretty well and is getting some depth to it. I posted this picture on our social media networks and had someone comment that I should be care not to enter another dimension... LOL

VROD rear wheel restoration update

It's been a time consuming process restoring this wheel with 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 2000 grit sandpaper!
Decided to do a quick polish to see how it looks. Not bad but it needs a full day of polishing before it's finished.

VROD pulley and compensator bowl

Making good progress on this VROD pulley and compensator bowl. All the seams, casting marks and imperfections have been sanded out with 220 grit. Now it's time to work with the next grades: 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 2000 then onto polishing.

The VROD engine shirt that I ordered arrived and I gotta say it looks even better in person than I could have hoped for. When you see stuff online it's so hard to tell especially with clothes, the design is pressed in nicely, the shirt material is comfortable and the sizing is spot on.

VROD compensator bowl

Time to detail the VROD compensator bowl by sanding and polishing all the flat surface and remove that seam from the casting process with 220, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 2000 grits of wet/dry sandpaper then polished with AutoSol.
