VRSC Saddlebag Kit
kit numbers: 91492-01 and 91493-01
A lot of people contact us about the Harley-Davidson hard shell saddlebags we have on our bikes. They are hard to find and when you do there's rarely instructions. So I've scanned the original genuine service sheets from mine, including the expanded view with all the part numbers and made up a webpage for anyone to access, here's the link:

Gravel roads and Vrods
by Editor on 08/08/18
Spotted this cornfield as I rode by & thought it would make an interesting picture. What I didn't realize, was how sketchy that loose gravel on that dirt road was. There were many rocks the size of my fists to navigate through and getting this picture could have ended up costing me more than a few moments of my time... Another lesson learned!
Harley Davidson 100th anniversary VROD backrest pad: 53315-03
by Editor on 08/05/18
These Harley-Davidson Vrod 100th Anniversary backrest pads are getting harder & harder to find. I have one on the silver bike & feel lucky to have it. Out of the blue I got a message from someone on Facebook letting me know that he's followed our bike builds & wanted to offer me first chance to buy his brand new 100th Anniversary backrest pad! It arrived the other day and now both of our camera bikes have one, thank you Sir : )

Daymaker LED headlight with visor
by Editor on 08/03/18
Installation of the Daymaker headlight is quick and easy unless you want to be able to use a headlight visor. Mixed comments online, some say it won't fit, some say it fits and some say you have to spend some time to get it to fit.
Well it definitely fits but I had to trim off approximately 3/8 x 3 inches off the visor and then had to do some grinding on the headlight itself in order for the headlight to have a full range of motion for headlight alignment.
VROD Daymaker Headlight
by Editor on 08/01/18
I have been watching these Daymaker headlights since the first came out on the market, I've always been curious about how well the light up the road in comparison to the stock Harley-Davidson Vrod headlight. I hadn't planned on buying one but when I had the chance to trade some of my HD stuff for one yesterday via Craigslist, I decided to go for it and give it a try.
The Rukka AirAll motorcycle suit for hot weather riding
by Editor on 07/30/18
Press release from Rukka Motorsport
The motorbike suit with the "T-shirt effect" The new Rukka "AirAll" has arrived
It might surprise you to know it's the Finns from the cold North, of all people, who know how to deal with especially hot days. Wearing a Rukka AirAll suit, motorcyclists just stay cool even when things heat up. The key words are Cordura AFT and AFT+.
Summer 2016 has taught us a lesson: even in our country you might go through hot wet days with 30 or 35 C in the shade. What to do? Ride without protective clothing, risk a heat stroke, or refrain from motorcycling? Nothing of the sort! The answer comes from Rukka and is AirAll. This new suit from the AirPower collection is made of extraordinary wide-meshed, extremely air permeable Cordura AFT. At the sleeves and the sides of the jacket as well as at the trouser legs and the trousers seat area, even more coarsely meshed AFT+ is used. The wind can get through the wide mesh with almost no resistance, cooling the body while the sweat can also evaporate freely. Nevertheless, passive safety is ensured by the high abrasion resistance of Cordura AFT and of AFT+, by the reinforcement of exposed zones and due to the CE certified Rukka D3O Air joint protectors, which are very comfortable but multiply their crash protection in the very moment of an impact. Thanks to a back protector sleeve, the jacket can even be upgraded with either a Rukka Full Back or an All Back protector.
In total five pockets , one with a waterproof pocket bag inside , offer storage space for wallet, mobile and other utensils. The AirAll jacket is available in sizes 46 through 66 at well-sorted Rukka dealers, either in light grey or in black with grey or orange graphics. The black AirAll trousers come in an even greater variety of sizes: besides the regular 46 through 64, there is the extra long legged 48 through 58 and the 48 through 66 short version.
