December 18th, 2010: Special thanks goes to our sponsor Alpinestars for outfitting us with these Supertech Touring Gore-Tex® Boots for the 2011 riding season.
I will be posting a full review after we've worn them a while, but I must say we were very impressed with these boots as soon as we opened the box. The attention to detail is remarkable, as is the fit and finish. When I put them on they were incredibly comfortable, and the amount of adjustability makes for a custom fit. We are looking forward to the 2011 riding season with these keeping our feet, safe, dry, and warm.

February 23th, 2011: Special thanks to GhostRider Customs for providing these Precision Cut Grills for our Harley-Davidson V-Rod camera bike. These grills are more than just great looking, they offer protection from road debris and rocks that could puncture this vital component to the V-Rod. I consider myself lucky so far because I've pulled out all sorts of insects, leaves, sticks, and countless rocks that could have damaged, or restricted the air flow to the rad. I should have had these on my bike years ago...
I will be posting pictures and a review once they have been installed. more info

March 9th, 2011: Special thanks to our sponsor Gerbing's Heated Clothing for sending a pair of their heated socks for this riding season.
Made from a perspiration-wicking 4-way stretch material, these socks are the ultimate in cold weather comfort for your feet.
First, they're extra tall, so they ride up over your calf. No matter how tall or short your boots are, these socks work. Second, the socks are cut specifically for left and right feet, so they fit you even more snugly to deliver extra heat, particularly to your toes. Finally, that heat comes from Gerbing's patented Microwire heating system, with wires so thin you won't feel them. And with heat delivered both above and below your feet, you'll be riding wrapped in soothing comfort.
Visit our Review page for more info & direct links to these socks.
Gerbing's Heated Clothing have been keeping us safe and warm since 2005, and our choice for heated motorcycle gear years before they were our sponsors.
March 11th, 2011: Special thanks to our newest sponsor Unlimited Engineering for providing us with their 5 gallon conversion kit for our V-Rod Camera bike. This tank holds an astonishing 53% more fuel than the stock tank! The majority of motorcycle riders are fortunate enough to have this type of fuel capacity already but for 2002-2006 Harley-Davidson owners we are not so lucky. The V-Rod's stock tank capacity is only 3.4 gallons with a max range of approximately 160 kilometers at 100kph.
I've ridden over 103,000 kilometers and have came so close to running out of gas on many occasions. This extra fuel capacity will now allow us to explore and film areas that were previously out of range.
It just arrived today but I can hardly wait till it's installed and I get to go for that first ride past many of the gas stations where I used to have to stop.
I will be posting images and a full review once it's installed, till then be sure to visit our Review page for more detailed info & direct links to this amazing 5 gallon kit for the V-Rod.

March 11th, 2011: Vridetv's blog update: Virtual riding TV is very pleased to be an official media sponsor for two premier motorcycle rallies in British Columbia this July. Sturgis North Motorcycle Rally and the Great Canadian Bike Rally. more
Product info:
The 'Original' Progressive Rate Fork Springs soak up the small road bumps, yet are firm enough to absorb the molar-rattling ones. Spring rates have been chosen to reduce front end "dive" during braking, yet still provide excellent ride comfort. Better yet, we warranty our fork springs for life! Progressive Rate Fork Springs have several advantages over straight rate springs. A Progressive Rate Spring has the advantage of a rising rate resistance to compression. The benefit of this is that the spring can be soft enough at the start of the travel to offer a "plush" ride, yet be firm enough at the end of the travel to soak up the big bumps.
March 18th, 2011: We would like to welcome our newest sponsor for the 2011 riding season Progressive Suspension. They have provided us with a pair of progressive rate fork springs for our 2003 Harley-Davidson V-Rod camera bike. A full review will be posted once they have been installed & thoroughly road tested.

This footage was captured in 2006 while on our ride across Canada, the bike was fully loaded with me, my wife as passenger, and all our gear... September 12th, 2011: Special thanks to KBC Performance helmets for their continued sponsorship of our 2011 riding season. Here's the FFR Envy that I'll be wearing for the remainder of the year. I will be installing a M-Sonic 800BH Bluetooth headset right away, and I also have to make and install the camera bracket. I'll post more pictures once it's completed.
The FFR (Modular - Flip Front) helmet has an excellent design, fit, and function. They are very comfortable with removable liners for washing, and have a ventilation system that works great on hot days. The metal hinge mechanism used to lift and lower the front, glides smoothly and locks securely in either position. (The original FFR helmets were used on the our Canada ride). We have put the FFR helmets through rigorous testing in all kinds of weather conditions and they have proven themselves time and time again.
KBC Performance Helmets have been keeping us safe since we bought our first FFR's in 2006.
They were our choice of helmets, years before they were our sponsors.
Visit KBC's website for more information on their full line of high performance helmets.

February 20th, 2012: We are very pleased to announce that Pingel is now a product sponsor of Vridetv. They have sent their aluminum steering stabilizer kit for our 2003 Harley-Davidson V-Rod camera bike.
I will be installing this steering stabilizer as soon as my bike gets back from the shop, then doing a full review after I've used it awhile.
Till then, here are some of the key features from Pingel.
Each kit includes the aluminum steering stabilizer, fork mounting bracket, frame mounting bracket and complete mounting hardware. There are four separate kits available. Two may be required.
Sold individually. VRSC A&B models will only accept a stabilizer mounted on the left side. Will not fit if the motorcycle is equipped with a crash guard or Pingel Easy Shift Kit.
Total Lenght: 14.76
