Vrod scripted shifter rod

This V-Rod shifter rod was tough to find, they have been a discontinued item and is now obsolete. I had the folks at Trev Deeley Harley Davidson run the part number and there were none in Canada. I then called an HD dealer in the States and they checked the USA computer system and had the same results...
I made several posting on a Vrod Facebook group with no luck.... Then out of the blue I got a message from a gentlemen that said he had one on his bike and would take it off and sell it to me if I wanted. Wow, how cool is that!!!!
