Sea to Sky Highway

Yesterday Diane and I rode up the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler, British Columbia. We left Langley around 2:30pm and were met with a lot of traffic due to the construction work being done on the #1 Highway and the twining of the Port Mann Bridge. (completion date 2013) We just about melted in all our gear but once we were over the bridge the traffic went from a crawl to relatively normal pace and the wind filled our vents in our jackets. This was all worth while when we got on the Sea to Sky highway, what an outstanding road. The Scenery is spectacular and the road is a motorcyclist's dream, a newly paved windy road with sweeping corners, this is one of the best highways in British Columbia. I've filmed this area both from the road and from the air while on a cross promotion plane tour with Glacier Air in Squamish.
