Motorcycle riding in the Fall
by Editor on 09/29/14
Yesterday I loaded up our camera bike and went for a 500+ kilometer ride in the pursuit of the Fall colours. I started up the inReach GPS tracker in Aldergrove headed towards Hope then to Merritt via the Coquihalla (Highway Thru Hell TV show films this area) then the 97C connector to Highway 5A to Princeton. They are still doing roadwork outside of Princeton but looks like they're getting close to finishing. More road work starts today (Sept. 29) after Manning Park closer to the hope Slide. Wow, this turned into the road report, Lol.
Ok, now I'm back on track, The pursuit for the Fall colours was a little early, some of the maples were turning but it looks like another week or so the rest should change. It was a pretty outstanding day for a ride, beautiful blue sky and winding roads. Here's a shot from Allison Lake
