Kamloops Lake Ride
by Editor on 08/13/10
After several days of much needed rain summers is back, yesterday I spent the first four hours working in the office, and in the afternoon I went for a 681 kilometer ride leaving Aldergrove at 12:30. First stop Hope for gas then up the Coquihalla to Merritt for another tank full, then to Kamloops. After topping up my fuel, I rode over to Kamloops Harley-Davidson to visit their dealership, I've driven past many times but this was my first visit. The store is of a good size, lots of bikes, and the staff was friendly, I'm glad I stopped in. Now I began the trip home and headed towards Cache Creek stopping at Kamloops Lake where this picture was taken.
This was another one of those places you would like to spend more time at but there's only so many hours in the day. It's a nice ride along side the Lake with a number of spots that I will have to stop at another day. I stopped for gas in Cache Creek then headed down the Fraser Canyon to Lytton, then Hope, and back home at 8:30.
