Crowsnest Highway

Yesterday's ride was to Princeton, British Columbia on the Crowsnest Highway (#3).
It was a beautiful day for a ride until I came across this sign.
Road crews were sealing cracks in the highway with tar, then covering them with sand. It's one of those things that has to be done, but not something you really want to ride threw, actually it wasn't quite as ominous as the sign made it out to be, but pretty sketchy none the less. Once past the construction it was back to a great day of riding to Princeton. Then back once again threw the construction with the traffic ahead of me creating a sand blaster effect, love my full face helmet...
I took a number of pictures from points of interest and have posted them on the British Columbia image page. Round trip it was a 485 kilometer ride.
High definition video from this area is available from a previous ride.
