Do you have a 2005 vrscse cvo vrod for sale?
by Editor on 08/07/24
I'm looking to PURCHASE a BLUE Harley-Davidson VRSCSE CVO V-ROD motorcycle like in these photos. (I may also consider the same bike in red or orange)
I'm located in the south Okanagan of British Columbia Canada so I'd like a Canadian bike that is in KHP instead of the US bikes in MPH. If you are not close to my location we can set up a video chat where you can do a walk around video and show me certain areas I want to see. Shipping can be arranged.
If you have one that you want to sell please scroll down to the bottom of this page and click on the contact link and email me your info.

VROD IAC unit
by Editor on 07/09/24
Ever since I bought the blue bike it has had an idle issue where it goes from smooth to the tach bouncing a few hundred rmp. Dismissed as probably lack of use and the need to be ridden, but after riding in a few hundred kilometers and having it stall out on me the other day it became apparent it was time to seek answers.
The IAC (Idle Air Control) sensor seemed to be the most likely suspect so I removed the airbox and MotoHooligan to access it. While the bike was running I sprayed carb cleaner into the inlet while working the throttle to prevent it from stalling. This should remove any gummed up deposits and hopefully smooth out the idle, it seemed to help a little bit but not as much as hoped.
Decided to call the local Harley-Davidson dealer and it tuns out this part has been discontinued and obsolete. Next I searched out the part number on eBay and found a brand new in the box sensor but at 3 times the price... nothing to do but swear a little (well actually a lot) and add to cart. Should arrive in 10 days.
