Wildfire in Osoyoos and Oliver British Columbia Canada
by Editor on 07/24/21
You know the wildfire is close when you look out your living room window and see a helicopter filling their water blather...
There were three helicopters battling the blazes for over 10 hours on Friday July 23rd as it was getting uncomfortably close to a BC Hydro power station and homes.
The Nk'Mip wildfire is now 6,800 hectors in size and stretch from Oliver to Osoyoos and all the way to the United States border. With no rain in sight, temperatures in the mid 30s and the winds this fire isn't surrendering anytime soon...
A BIG THANK YOU to all the firefighters!
