Motorcycle rear camera mount

Have you ever taken over the kitchen table and made it into a work bench?
Me neither, LOL...
Last year I made a rear camera mount for our carbon fiber bike that produced very steady and smooth video quality. In doing so there were a number of brackets added to achieve that steady shot that resulted in an appearance that was not ideal in my mind.
After giving a lot of thought in how to keep the steadiness of last years mount and developing a more streamline cleaned up version I decided get to work on it. This time I started with a piece of 1/4 x 5 x 6 aluminium flat bar and attached that to the Vrod baseplate that is used to attach a luggage rack and backrest. Then I drilled a hole for the ball head tripod and four holes that will eventually anchor the plate to the steel inner rear fender. Next I will be using four pieces of 5/16 ready rod to see where they meet with the inner fender then figure out the best way to secure them in place.
