Did you know Harley-Davidson and Porsche teamed up on the V-ROD?
by Editor on 09/19/23
"A New V2 Engine for the Harley V-Rod Under the development name Revolution Engine, in 2002 development partner Porsche Engineering developed a new V2 engine for the V-Rod model of the American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson.
Against the backdrop of a collaboration stretching back to the 1970s, the Porsche engineers constructed a water-cooled 1,131 cc motor based on a racing engine that delighted Harley-Davidson's demanding clientele both for its performance as well as its imposing sound. With a DOHC valvetrain and electronically controlled fuel injection, the VRSC-series Harley with its four-valve engine put out up to 120 hp."

by Editor on 09/06/23
After doing a deep clean and polish, these used Tab Performance baffled slip on mufflers came out pretty good. I'm thinking on installing them on the bike build and also including the stock oem mufflers in a box for any potential buyers.

Progressive Suspension
by Editor on 08/22/23
Ordered up a set of Progressive Suspension standard rate springs to replace the heavy duty rates ones I have in 444 series shocks right now. Also ordered the tool so I can do it myself.
These will give a softer ride since the HD ones are preloaded for someone 250 pounds and up.

Loved Colony chrome hardware so much, doing another bike!
by Editor on 08/18/23
After changing all the grundy OEM hardware on the 05 CVO, I just couldn't bare to look at my 2003 knowing the difference it would by doing the same thing. So I placed an order with Colony and the box of awesomeness has arrived!
That means Chrome Friday is back & I'll be making weekly postings again showcasing each product being used.
