VROD polished wheel and pulley
by Editor on 01/28/24
It was a very time consuming job sanding & polishing that OEM VROD pulley by hand, but I think it's well worth the effort seeing it mounted on the wheel.

Nice to have this finished, it's a lot of work but definitely worth it in my opinion.

VROD chrome straight passenger foot peg mounting brackets
by Editor on 01/18/24
Up until a week ago I didn't know these straight passenger foot peg mounting brackets existed. I got them used from a fellow Vrodder and after spending an hour cleaning then using Mother's chrome polish they came out pretty good. Unsure who makes there as there wasn't any name, logo or part number.
These will work perfectly with the Corbin saddlebags and all the passengers foot to rest 2 1/2 inches forward.
Corbin Beetlebags / saddlebags mounted on 2003 VROD
by Editor on 01/16/24
I decided to use the carbon fiber 2003 VROD to test fit the Corbin Beetlebags HD-VR-BAG (fitment 02-06 VRSCA) because it has the very large stock mufflers and shocks on it. If they fit and clear on this then I'll know without a doubt they are the correct ones and work on the silver 03 or the blue 05. The silver bike is missing the exhaust, rear wheel, belt guards etc. and the blue bike has the genuine Harley-Davidson hardshell saddlebags on it, so the test fit on the CF just made sense.
Both happy and relieved to confirm that these are 100% correct for my application. Now I can focus on building the licence plate bracket that connects to the two main brackets that will secure everything since it was missing.
CORBIN Beetlebags HD-VR-BAG Saddlebags 02-06 VRODS
by Editor on 01/15/24
Very happy to have a set of these CORBIN Beetlebags HD-VR-BAG Saddlebags sitting in the garage! These 2002 - 2006 VRSCA models are extremely hard to find now a days since they were discontinued several years ago and were priced at 2K USD unpainted.
I've been looking for a used set for quite some time without any luck until finding a brand new set on eBay! I went to buy them and the seller would not ship to Canada for some reason... I was very disappointed to say the least.
Two days later a friend messages me from one of the Facebook V-ROD groups saying that he is going to be getting a set of Corbin saddlebags and was giving me first chance to buy them! It was clear he was looking for a quick flip and make a tidy profit until I said the ones on eBay and explained I tried to buy them. So now there was that awkward moment for him realizing I knew exactly what he paid for them, LOL.
So being a solid friend he offered me them for $50 over what he paid because he knew I've been looking for a while. From there it turned into a trade deal for some parts that I had that he wanted, so both of us got what we needed and both of us are extremely happy!
As much as I like the genuine Harley-Davidson hard shell saddlebags I like these even better because the Corbin Beetlbags have double the cubic inch storage capacity and fit closer to the fender with minimal gap. These are ready for paint, now I need to decide whether to put them on the silver 2005 or the 2005 blue bike.

Google Ads have been replaced
by Editor on 01/08/24
We've had Google Ads on our website since the beginning of VRIDETV in 2006, both on our website and our Youtube videos. They have served us well but it's time for a change, as of today all Google Ads have been removed from VRIDETV.com and all of our YouTube videos.
I spent the last three days behind the scenes performing this time consuming task to over 300 web pages we have on this site. The banners to our online store selling VROD merch have taken their place.

VROD rear brake disc detailing.
by Editor on 01/02/24
After sanding this rear brake disc on the 2003 VROD with 220, 320, 400, 600 grit. The 800 grit really starts to show the depth & shine. Next: 1000, 2000 then polish with extra virgin olive oil.
(Yes you read that right, just checking to see if you caught it)
